RESEARCH & FOCUS AREAS: Océane’s area of focus is peacebuilding as a lens through which to approach numerous fields of work. She is exploring these topics in collaboration with alumni and current students discussing career transitions, resources and strategies for a diverse array of peacebuilding careers.

CURRENT WORK:

  • Océane leads the PREP Peacebuilding Career Coaching program, an initiative she developed to help NYU CGA students apply their peacebuilding knowledge to their career goals. Her work includes collaborating with students to design meaningful career events, offering one-on-one coaching, and developing a comprehensive peacebuilding career resource guide.

BACKGROUND
Océane is a Senior Organizational Development Specialist at the Oakland Housing Authority, where she applies her expertise in peacebuilding and mediation to strengthen communication between internal and external stakeholders. Previously, she directed a large-scale dining operation during Operation Allies Welcome, managing a multicultural team of over 110 staff serving thousands of Afghan guests daily. This experience deepened her understanding of leadership, coordination, and humanitarian service in high-stakes environments.
