Abigail Landesman

Graduate Assistant

Abigail Landesman is a Graduate Assistant at NYU’s Peace Research and Education Program (PREP). She is pursuing an MS in Global Affairs. At PREP, she assists with communication and social media to ensure that PREP’s projects and events are shared with students and partners.

In 2023, she graduated with a B.A. in Government & Politics and Theater, with minors in Arabic and International Development & Conflict Management. Prior to attending NYU, she worked as a Youth Worker and then Case Manager at HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services, in a transitional foster care program for unaccompanied migrant children.

Her growing research interests include migration and transnational identities, the unique experiences of women and children in global conflict, and transitional justice. She is looking forward to learning more from her time at PREP and NYU’s Center for Global Affairs.
